Is it possible to transfer sequences created on an Akai ASQ10 to midi files?

I wanted to edit some old sequences I HAVE CREATED ON THE ASQ10 WITHIN CUBASE 7?

My ASQ10 no longer works but I do have the sequence files saved on floppy.

Hope someone can help?

If your ASQ had MPC60 OS 3, then you might be able to use a free conversion utility.

If it didn't have MPC60 OS 3, if it had OS 2 for example, you might need to find someone with an ASQ OS 3/MPC60 OS 3/MPC3000/MPC2000/MPC2000XL to load the ASQ disks and save them as MIDI, or an ASQ OS 2/MPC60 OS 2 and record the MIDI out to another sequencer.

Not sure what other options are available, someone else should have an idea.

Where are you located, maybe someone can help if near where you are?

Thanks Simon for your reply.

Not sure what OS it has, haven't used it in 14 years so I guess its pretty out of date by now and the last time I turned it on there was a problem with disk drive!

I live in Northern Ireland.

Thanks again for your suggestions.
