Backing Up MPC60 CF Files - Will It Work?

My studio partner and I have been sampling a load of drum machines, 12"s and other gear this year.

I have a double slot CF Reader in my MPC60 (3.10).

If I back those files up via a CF - USB interface to my mac is there any reason why they wouldn't restorable to a new CF card if that were necessary?

I have the same thoughts about my CF card. I think the way to go is to image the card on your computer. So far though, I'm loathed to remove it from the reader as things are working so well.

No there shouldn't be any reason why that won't work.

Thats exactly what I do with my 3000 that has vallixi (sp).

Make sure you use a mac cause pc's have trouble recoqnizing all the partitions, and keep character length of file names 8 characters or less.
