go with the editor, it makes life so much easier than batch converters etc. You can lay out your PGM in it, set envelopes, it's crazy.

it works for other stuff and won't be wasted. the editor is $30 last I checked.

Try wavsnd. By the same author as the MPCEditor, and it best of all, it is free. F-R-E-E. Converts wv to MPC3000 snd format and MPC3000 snd format to wav.

Translator is nice, I know the author and helped him add the MPC support to it.
