Okay another few quick questions, so i've 'compressed' some samples within the MPC3000, and i've exported them and converted it to .wav, the one long sample take is now pitched double. So I'm trying to automate and chop all the samples in one sitting on my PC, (I've got all the OG samples as a reference for the samples exact length.)
1) What would be the best way to chop these samples.
2) Would it be a good idea to re-pitch "uncompress" the sample and chop it that way? If so, what is -120 pitch equivalent to?
3) How does the MPC remember if the sample is compressed or not?
Would love some insight. Thank you
