RS-16X Software

Hey folks,

Does anybody have any word on SSWorks and the RS-16X software for the MPC 3000?
The app isn't available on the Mac App Store anymore and I haven't gotten any responses from Seishu via his email address.

Anyone have any info, please feel free to share.

I too am trying to activate my Software but the Servers are down?

Have tried to contact the Support but no reply...

Seems that there's no buy option on the site other than a link to the app store, which leads to an 'unavailable' message. Think it's fair to assume it's a dead app.

That's such a shame. I had been using it for years and had a great work-flow between MPC3000 and Mac OS.

Really hope they revive it in the future.

I figured out a solution. SSworks has an old program for Mac OS 9 called "MPC Pgm Maker" and you can download it here https://web.archive.org/web/20070305080136/http://homepage.mac.com/seishu/ssworks/mpcpgmmaker/mpcpgmmaker.html

Since this program can't run on a modern mac, you'll have to install the program on a Mac OS 9 emulator which can be downloaded here https://mendelson.org/macos9osx.html

The software is a trial version and you can only make an MPC Bank for bank A.

I have been using MpcPgmMaker for years. I have a couple of Mac's with Snow Leopard installed so I can run the OSX version. Its a great program. Ive messed with a lot of stuff over the last 20 plus years for MPC's and ASR-10's, and this is the best way I have found to convert programs .pgm and sounds .snd to the MPC 3000.
