PHILLY: what was the cost??? Plus shipping is a 100.00 at least and then you'd want to insure the damn thing so that'd prolly bump you up to 150 or so.....to cover damages during transit. Sheeshhhhh.....i think i'm gonna pass on that shit until i sell my first 10,000 records. hahahah

I just don't get this +4dBu boost stuff.

If you just send the 8 outs to a decent analog mixer you can add as much gain as you want using the preamps.

I reckon a s/h 8-preamp mackie mixer won't be much more than 250$, and you've got eq, pan and level adjustment for each channel as a bonus, which is always nice.

Maybe there's something I miss though.
