Hi,
I live in the UK and recently purchased an MPC60 from America - it arrived today, and excitedly I plugged it in via a normal power adapter converter (the type you might buy in an airport) - only to find that the screen flashed once and then went straight off again. Now it won't switch on again at all!
I take it this is a problem with the British 240V power supply when the machine is expecting 120V, and I'm suspecting I've blown a fuse - what I need to know is how do I get this sorted out, and also what can I use to stop this from happening again?
I'm pretty desperate as I've just spent hundreds of dollars on this thing & they're obviously pretty hard to come by. Any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks a lot,
Chris
