Let's slow down a bit.
After you boot the MPC, if you go to DISK does F9 show up?
If you see F9 your SCSI should be ok.
It shows up if the SCSI saw anything on the SCSI buss when it booted up.
If you have to do the select disk function then the MPC didn't find anything on the buss.
When you boot the 60 or use F9 from inside of DISK (with a ZIP in the drive) does the light on thre drive toggle and the ZIP disk spin?
Don't worry about the MPCeditor stuff, that's the stuff you have to do to use the ZIP disk with the editor not the 60.
Just seems like you have a drive problem (or cable).
