Hi 2 everybody.
i'm a lucky owner of mpc 60 II the brocker who sold it to me didn't knew anything about the mpc.and when i've asked on the phone if it's have scsi board+ os 3.10 he answered that he didn't thought so.Latter when i've reach to the shop i was suprised to purchased for 509 $ an mpc 60 II full options with scsi board + os 3.10 for only 509 $.
I've watched the unit and said ; ok sir that's fine for me i will use this with the os 2.12 i don't care . just because the unit came with the os 2.12 manual he thought that it matched the mpc and he never switch on the mpc to check the os.He used to sell mobile phone and different many "bric brac" from old guitar to radio or dvd ,even watchs. He didn't knew anything about this piece.
One advice don't avoid to go to any brocker even if he don't sell music gears who knows. The brocker was in TEXAS.
My question is ; i would like to play the drum kits i made on my E4XT ULTRA EMU'S sampler from the mpc 60 since it have 4 midi output .I've connected the mpc midi output to the emu's midi input but there's no way to hear any midi signal or sound on E4XT ULTRA ; how can i do?
Thanks for responding and peace to all mpc 60 and 3000 addict.

try also connecting the midi out from MPC to midi in on the EMU and vice versa...meaning Midi in on the MPC to EMU midi out

do a search on this forum for a thread I started about MIDI'ing with an Alesis Micron and you'll find all the help you need from the irreplaceable ElMac :D

bonjour,

Download the 3.10 OS Manual from

http://www.rogerlinndesign.com/support/downloads.shtml

Scroll down. The manual tells you how to control external gear with the 60.

Detail's sugestion to search the forum might help too, as I break it down a bit clearer than the manual.

Great find by the way.
