Sp-12 stock drums

I've seen some ads for some Sp-12s on craiglist.org in my area, for VERY cheap prices.I guess the only reason for buying an SP-12 would be for the stock drums.I was wondering what they are/sound like.808 sounds or somethin or old 80 soundin reverbed drums or what?Are they useful?Can I find them in a "newer unit"?

y dude, slow down, do some searching and reading online, there are plenty of sites with the SP-12 stock sounds for download.

if you can get a sp for cheap jump on it. anything around a gee is not a question. uff the stock sounds. this is the best machine to sample drums into. which craigslist are you checkin. ilive in nyc and dont often see good deals on one.
