MPC Sample Stop Ala Sp 1200

So, When You assign sounds on the Sp to a particular output, let's say output 1, when You play a sound on one pad and then play another sound on a different pad the first sound stops playing automaticlly. Now, I know very well about the sample cutoff feature but that only allows You two pads worth of work around room. But, What if I need more than 2 pads of cutoff.....?
I know about assigning the sound to different pads and therefore having more cutoff by doing so but, Is there anything Y'All know that can help?

I've been utilizing the Sp 1200 because I can do these cutoff much MUCH easier while working on My next batch

the only way i've figured around this is to copy and paste the same sound to another pad and cut it off with another 2 pads. So you sort of have to use a bit more memory but I mean that's on you. Another idea that works for me quite well is just using blank pads in open Banks say 3 or 4 and cut off pads in Banks 1 and 2. That way you can use them to interrupt almost any sound coming out of the 60 regardless of where a sample resides. Works well in most cases. You really have to get to know the machine. I've had problems with that limitation but always end up working around it. It is what makes creating music on vintage machines so amazing! Limitation helpe boost your creativity.

What's funny is that yall are trying to recreate a limitation of the Sp on a better design (wth multiple sounds allowed out of each output.

The cutoff screen seems really flexible with two, has anyone tried lets say you have a kick cutting off a snare, and the snare cutting off a hihat, will the kick then cut off the hihat?

More advanced design.... I'd prefer the ability to have both.

On the Akai S-Series you have up to 32 mute groups: all the samples assigned to a single mute group cut each other off. Easier to assign, and very flexible... I wish they'd put that on the MPC...

yeah the emax is something like that but they seem to have to be sequential.
