Spoke to Forat regarding the battery replacement....and he said that he's only seen one case in his entire career and suggested that it not be a huge problem when it does go. All you have to do is save your .PAR file to disk and load it up each time.....might be a hassle but the machine is still fully functional.....good to know.

I only have 60 hours or so on my mpc-60 and S950.....as soon as I learn them inside and out i'll be able to post more interesting tips.....wish I could be more resourceful.

My first setup was SP1200 & S950. The marriage between the 2 units is Bliss. Unite those 2..... Player

The S9 need love too..........

oh for sure - well we're using the sp1200 and emax 1 - which audibly is also bliss but at many times it's more like an audio finger blister. Copying and pasting samples to new sp1200 pads takes forever.....

Did he give you a price for the battery replacement? It's not a fun procedure, but it is worth it IMO, instead of always having to load a PAR file. If the price is right ask him if he'll do it, treat your 60 nice ;)
