SCSI pain in the ass.....

Man for the past 40 mins I have been trying to format a ZIP disk on my 60 and the damn drive kept giving me an error after about 20 seconds. I went through about a half dozen disks before I realized that maybe it was the drive itself and not the disks. I knew my connection was solid because the SCSI was receiving information from the 60. So anyhow I think I remedied it by standing the SCSI drive up right on its side. I normally use it while it's flat sitting on top of the 950. Go figure........10 minutes to format.....hahahah

Turn both off and make sure your cable connections are clean and make sure the cables are well connected and the screw terminals are nice and tight. Wiggling cables can mess up your scsi board and it's a long way back to forat.
