mpc 60 maximum memory

can somebody tell me what the maximum amount of memory you can put in an mpc 60 is?

1500 KB or 1.5 MB, two 750 KB chips anyway you say it that's it. With the 3.10 upgrade that gives you 26 seconds of sample time, with the 2.xx OS that gives you 5 seconds, Hope this helps!

Wrong, the standard OS will give you 26.2 sec expanded, 13.1 unexpan ded. THe new OS allows sampler compression, so you can get 52.4 seconds but the sound quality is supposed to suffer, I haven't heard the difference tho, but I don't do it often.

El Macaco is right 750 KB will give you 13.1 seconds of total sampling time, but it will only give you 5 seconds per sample (pad). The 1.5 MB will give you 26.2, but you will still be limited to 5 seconds per pad. The OS 3.10 upgrade will allow you to use your total sampling time for any one sample if you wish. I probably shoud have clarified that between total sample time and individual pad sample time, sorry.
