Anyone out there encountered this before???? My regrets if this is a past topic.
My 60's drive lite stays on constantly. Also when powering on, it always reads for a couple secs like there is a disk in there instead of kicking right to the software like it use to when the drive is empty. i know it always trys to sense a disk, so don't hate. It just seems slow.
to further frustrate me, my files have been corrupted like crazy. the sounds and programs remain, but the all extenstions keep going bad, so hard work goes down the crapper. Well, always part of it. usually the best part that i stay up till 4 working on. you know how it is.
Does it sound like it's time for forat or could it just be some dust or something. i try to keep the green smoke to minimum.
