converting files over to zip

i was wondering if there is anyway to get the files that i make on mpc creator over to a zip disk that will work in the 3000. it seems that all zips need to be formatted in the 3000 before they can be used and when placed back in the PC to put files on it needs to be formatted differently. i was thinking the only way is to use the floppy, but was wondering if anyone has used just a zip to do this or if its not possible. i already searched and couldnt find anything.

yes on win 98 and xp it is possible, you'll need thew latest MPC Editor with the XP zip format but I do it all the time.
