mpc mix-outs balanced?

I just got a Akai DPS 16 and I'm ready to start tracking/mixing my beats from my 60 II.

Are the mix-outs on the 60 II balanced?

If they are, is it alright if I start tracking with unbalanced cables until I can afford to pick up some balanced cables?

MPC MIX-OUTS are unbalanced, as are the INDIVIDUAL OUTS.
