Thanks to those who responded regarding zip vs. cd-rom question. The suggestions were to buy another zip or install a multicard reader. As I mentioned I would need to connect to the Mac G4, that's where my sounds are. I've located an Iomega 100mb zip and a 2gb jaz drive. I really would like to settle my storage issue once and for all, but honestly I don't know which would be the best route. Not totally comfortable with anyone screwing around with my "beautiful" LE, so I'm not sure about installing a multi-card reader either. My Final Zip Question Guys!
Thanks in advance.

get an internal zip, it works fine for me, MIKEDEAN made me a kit and painted the face black(cause i got an LE too so the white face looks kinda funny on it).

internal zips are not my favorites, then you can;t load the New OS's being made.

To further clarrify the comment by MIKEDEAN.

Some OS update example based on MANY direct communications with other users and tests in my development machine/s.

3.00 in ROM to 3.11/3.12/3.14B/3.14/3.16 on floppy = :-(

3.03 in ROM to 3.11/3.12/3.14B/3.14/3.16 on floppy = :-(

3.08 in ROM to 3.11/3.12/3.14B/3.14/3.16 on floppy = mixed results.

3.10 in ROM to 3.11/3.12/3.14B/3.14/3.16 on floppy = mixed results.

3.11 in ROM to 3.11/3.12/3.14B/3.14/3.16 on floppy = no problem.

Old versions pre 3.11 in ROM often have trouble booting to a newer OS revision off floppy.

If you don't have a floppy in your machine then upgrading the OS from an earlier version will need to be done via installation of an upgraded ROM-SET.

Cool,

Rohan.
