Is it possible to use an external SCSI CDRW with your MPC3000, and if so will it burn CDRW's that are compatible with Windows XP?

I found this

http://www.midicase.com/akai/files/MPC_ ... 001_07.pdf

but I don't understand it, does 3000/LE mean 3000 AND 3000 LE or just 3000LE ??

It probably means 3000 AND LE.[/b]

did you read the document or are you just making assumptions?

there's a whole row saying mpc3000 and then 2 items saying mpc3000/LE.
Those are the only ones that save and load. that's why i asked

MPC3000 and MPC3000LE machines have zero/no support for CD writing with CD burners.

IE: MPC3000 and MPC3000LE machines can not burn CD's.

IE: MPC3000 and MPC3000LE machines have no CD burning capability.

Certain CD burners can be used with the MPC3000 and MPC3000LE in place of CD readers... for the purpose of reading S1000/S3000 and MPC3000 formatted CD's only.

Why doesn't it say " READ ONLY " on the last 2 drives in the midicase pdf file?? You can understand my confusion.

Anyway, thanks for clearing this up.

Just a simple Yes or No answer will do next time though.

IE : I understood you the first time.

IE : It's too bad you have to be a wiseass about it.

The only wiseass here is you. Asking for information and then specifying how you want it "next time". The oinfo posted isn;t just for you ashol, it's for the search engine and other users who may need it in the future.

So back up "cheif" and be grateful you got any info at all.
