sup yall
just havin a problem wit my mpc again. great board wit great advice by da way. anyways, i tried two ways of using a recycle loop and my MPC. i did the first one in the tutorial, loading up the chops starting on pad A2 using the BLANK.PGM in the download. loaded up good and the samples were on the pads. the midi file transfered into seq 1. when i press play though, the seq plays but the samples are all lowered in pitch by alot. i mean the tempo is correct but its like someone just pitched it down maybe 4 octaves.....
ok i am using mpc editor now and try the export to .akp then open that mug in MPC editor and try to transfer over....same thing happens....if yall have a solution or what i am doin wrong that would help me a TON. thanks yall

What are the specs on the WAV file?

the specs are 44.1 16 bit....the samples play fine when i trigger the pads. only problem is the midi sequence....
i just copy the midi file created in recycle over to my zip disk with all the sounds. then i load the program....then i load the midi file.
the load midi file screen looks like this:
Load into Sequence :01-(unused)
DRUM tracks from MIDI channel:10
Arrange Tracks:As IN FILE (Normal)

what should i look out for?

"the seq plays but the samples are all lowered in pitch by alot"

and

"the samples play fine when i trigger the pads"

Do not fit the same problem. Is there a problem with the pads?

As far as loading the midi file, it has been so long since I loaded a midi file in the MPC I forget that screen. I think whatever track you load the drum track into, just go back and assign that to DRUM. It is explained in the manual or one of the manual addendums.
