Who does their sampling.......

all i sample w/ is the 60.. heres a snippet..

i have the s950 but i cant say i use it that much. i learned how to use it a bit after i got it but, id rather just be in the 60..the resampling is nice on the 950 though..


w/ the 60 i might take a few more 'takes' to get the sample i want, but that w/ the 60 is just enough.. when you pump up the volume when rec samples, it gets a nnice fuzz to the bass, then tune it down and you got soemadded grit..nothing new here....but still satisfying.

Second that. Only filters I use are on the 30 and 950. Don't do the lowpass thing that often....even though the filter factory can sound nice at times. MS2000 has nice filters too...

I sample in my MPC but im lookin forward to buy s950 with it so that i get different sample rates and filter.

I started sampling on my PC a few years ago so I take a hybrid approach. Sample and edit in my laptop, then resample it all into my MP. Probably degrades sound quality going from analog, digital, analog, digital but...meh still sounds grimey to me hehe.

I also do some editing on computer and sample back to mpc.
