hey what other options are there? zips die too quick. maybe the hard drive aspect will be good? but i want something that's easy to transfer from the comp to the mpc. anyone know?

Yep. I should be getting an external SCSI card reader soon I just got off eBay.

how reliable are they? seems like a goodiea. the zip drive i have seems to be doing the click of death. btw anyone do an internal drive for these?:-)

I'm no expert but I think out of the options you have (floppy, zip, hd, cards) it is the most reliable.

I searched for "scsi card reader". I was told Microtech ones should work.

biddin on a few card readers:-) the micro tech ones, hopefuly one of the internal ones will work properly!;-) i saw on the www.mpc3000.com site that somone did this :-) so hopefully this'll work out fine:-D

just as long as no perpetrator tries to out bid me:P
