mpc hum / noise

i jsut got a mpc 60 for drums, and the output is going straight into my mv-8000 , im getting a shitload of noise. Any way to ground the mpc 60? or am i stuck wit this?

i set it up this way because i record/sequence everythin in the mv

oh yeah, its only noticable when trying to reqcord sequences, not the samples alone

i fixed it............... it was a grounding loop

my setup is tons of shit plugged into two surge protectors plugged into different outlets. all i did was switch the mpc60 from one surge protector (or whatever its called) to the other one.
(that was plugged into a different outlet).
