Describe the MPC 3000 Filter?

the S950 is the only machine I've ever time stretched on and to me, after reading others time stretch experience it is really dope, i've time stretched the shit out of samples on the S950 before like, over a 100 percent and it's still sounded dope

I can remember it sounding like an echo if adjusted in a certain way.

i use nuendo2 to timestretch

i chop everything in nuendo and send it to my 3k via spdif

I've stretched on the ASR10 (which means I had time on my hands), the S950 (the best) and the S1100 (about the same as the 950).

Overall, timestretch on the 950 is the best when the fidelity of the sample is pretty limited to begin with. The higher quality the sample, the worse the artefacts sound.

Of course, a VP9000 or software editor would do great on hifi samples too. But I'm too old to use that gear.
