picking up an MPC 3000 very soon :P

its going to need the memory upgrading and i'm probably gonna want to replace the screen.

what memory do i need to pick up :?: (i'm told it just has the standard 2meg at the moment)

also, where can i get hold of a replacement screen for it :?:

i see you got some pads your selling, i dont want red pads for my mpc but i wanted to ask - are they same the ones that VST are selling? any idea if they are in any way better or worse than those that come on the mpc3000 as standard or are they exactly the same?

NP. I actually sold those red pads. The feel of them to me is the same but the original grey ones are a little thicker than than the color ones.

You wont regret buying a pair I tell u that much.

Yes the red and black pads I had were the kind VST was selling.

..just spotted that you have a 2000, not a 3000. i kinda wanna know how the pads that come with the 3000 compare with those VST are selling.

30 PIN, MATCHED PAIR, NON-COMPOSITE, PARITY or NON PARITY.

8 ( OR 9 IF PARITY ) CHIPS PER STICK.

I purchase new RAM for the MPC3000 from www.memoryx.net ...

The kit they supply is for a Kurzweil K2000 and works great in the MPC3000.

Also got some memory from MACSALES.COM that worked fine also.

The SIMMS at the eBay link look ok.
