MPC 3000 replacement fader

i need to hook up a replacement fader 'switch' for my 3K. the fader still works fine - just need the 'button/switch' thing to attach to it.

anyone know where i can pick something up to fit?
..or know the part number which i could order from akai?

i've been looking a various faders of other kit which i could take from but i've found nothing to fit so far.
