Yet another question. I will be getting my first MPC this week. I will be getting an MPC 60II (not sure if there are any upgrades on it or what OS is installed). I normally use my PC with software for music.
I would like to be able to edit samples (from my PC as well as samples from the 60) on my computer. Are there any software out there that can read snd files? Would Sony Soundforge, Steinberg WaveLab (or Cubase SX3), or Propellerhead Recycle be able to read snd files from the mpc 60 for editing? Or would I have to convert the snd files from the 60 into wav files for editing on the PC?
If so, what is a good program for converting snd files to and from wavs?
Likewise if I wanted to use a wav file taken from my PC for use on the MPC 60, how would I go about doing so?
Thanks
