MPC-60 MK1 with full mem & OS 3.10 but without SCSI

When I tried to switch on my MPC today it went on, had the whining noise but nothing showed up on the screen. The only LED's that went on and stayed were DISK and REC.

First, I tried to re-adjust the contrast all the way up to MAX and it went black as it should.
I verified that no connector was loose and also checked the fuses already, everything seems normal.

I know how to solder and check resistors and IC's with a multimeter so whatever your hint is, let me know.

I would really be thankful if anyone could help me out with this problem.

Power supply, 5Volt line, check the fuses, and reseat the ribbon connectors.

turn power off and unplug before you poke around in there.

thx for your help elmacaco.
I played with the ribbon cables, particularly the power supply one...took it out and replugged it...then I saw that a small yellow capacitor was hanging out a bit on the upper side, right under the pad's pcb and repushed it gently towards the pcb and then.......

BOOOM everything works now :D
