simple question...do you leave your machine on? or off?

im a former 2000xl user..who also still uses a 1000, ordered a mpc60 for $600 a few days ago, anxiously awaiting the O.G....quick question..i know a lot of older drum machines were meant to be operated all day long, i.e. producers never turned them off (and the machines took it well).

Any suggestions from owners of the mpc60 mk1, ..are you shutting the machine off every time you leave the studio...or you keep it runnin? thanks,

also...the mpc 60 bible is fresh. much props.

if you own a 60 or a 3k, u know they run f*ckin hot...
leave it on if you dont care about the lifespan of your almost extinct gear

One question, can the 60 just up and die, as in absolutly not being able to fix it?

The longest I ever left mine on was about 4 days and I never had an issue. I wouldn't just leave it on between beats or anything but I allways track the final product before turning it off just in case my storage media fails.
