What Just Happened

MPC 60 mkI. I was messing with an older beat I had and I tweaked the sequences a little so I saved them. I had changed the "Drum Mix" so I went to save my sounds again and it told me I did not have enough disk space. Now these were the same sounds already saved. I turned the power off and back on and now my .set is gone! WTF!!!

you did the replace same sounds on disk and it didn't work? You should have tried another disk before rebooting.

yeah I know, luckily i keep all of my samples saved on my computer. I just have to re sample them into the MPC

Did you have replace same sounds on disk set to yes?

I think you would have thought of that, but still.

I got the same computer back up running, love it!
