Is it possible to install an internal scsi zip 100 into an MPC60II version 2.14?

If so, are there any special adapters required?

Thanks

If it has the marion scsi it is possible.

Does it have a scsi connector on the back? It might be worth a shot.

Although you should really upgrade the OS and if you don't have scsi, get the marion board as well.

It is so Worth it.

Good point, I know it is possible but I am unsure what is involved, it is probably somewhat difficult.

My guess would be that you get an internal SCSI cable that has an extra connector on it and connect that to the internal zip, then connect the end to the external connector.

This is much easier said than done because the marion scsi has the external connector right on the cable, and not connected to an internal /external scsi adaptor, Which you can get, but it might be tricky getting it to fit. Also you need to set the scsi ID on the internal one and make sure you don't hook up something to the external port with the same ID.

For scsi termination I would use an external terminator on the external scsi connector. I beleive that would work and then you wouldn't have to open up the machine to switch off the termination on the internal scsi if you wanted something external as well.

Personally, I would keep the floppy just in case and have an external zip.

Forat does the modification so it must be possible.
