I just picked up a 3000 and have mostly figured out my work flow, but I have one question. I've decided to load many small programs up and then pick the best one for the project I'm working on. My question is; if I want to then add sounds to this program while I'm working, do I scroll through the other loaded samples and assign them to pads or is there another way, like auditioning them from their programs first and then assigning them? If I scroll through individual samples to audition sounds, I guess I have to name them all (eg. 808kik1) and not just number them sequentially? Do folks generally keep samples organized by kicks, snares, hats, etc... or just kept together with their kits?
Any help would be appreciated, I'm just trying to find out how most people do this.
Thanks,
Chris
