3.11 handling

i heard that with the 3.11 update in the mpc3k you can do most of the things you can do with the mpc2000xl...do anybody know something about that or is there any site where i can download such directions?
for example is it possible to immitate the "undo" button of the mpc2000xl with pushing 2 buttons at the same time or something like that?!

mpc3000 & their O/S were designed by roger linn, who was long gone when akai designed the 2000. 3.11 was out a few years b4 the mpc2000 was even advertised. major difference between 3.10 & 3.11 is that scsi data transfers much faster from zip100 or HD w/ 3.11.

u can use edit loop as an undo funtion

say u r going to do a fill in bar 4, set loop for bar 4, do yr fill. then, to lose the fill press undo and off, to keep it press turn off

For future reference i just discovered OS 3.08 cant read PGMs created on the MPCEditor.

Also on Sounds>6, OS3.08 and before lacks the delete before start and end, you have to edit by zone.

Yeah, the funny thing is...i just made a post how my 3000 with the 3.08 os loads up 3.11 fine from disk (for a couple months now, this is my second 3000) and yesterday it quit loading from the disk...eh.

Now i got a bunch of PGMs that I built songs from the wont load (sounds still load but pgms and seqs wont) and im working on my first real album production thingy for a real artist...hahaha!!!
