Hello,

Have been looking arround for a 3000 or a 60 but not having much luck in the UK.

I have considered importing one from the USA but would like to see if anyone has done the same, and how to deal with the conversion of the power supply.

I am no electrician, but am pretty sure it wouldnt be a great idea to just use one of those converter plugs you take on holiday with you.

I noticed the 3000 has a kettle lead type output for the power, does this mean you could just put a UK kettle lead in? Or is the actual PSU different

Am not sure how the 60 works (think the power cord is attached).

Would appreciate a response from anyone that could help!

Cheers ReckOne.

ganstas paradise. So does it have the 3 pin kettle lead style attachment, and does anyone know if you can just switch the leads, or if you would have to change the PSU inside?

Aha! I knew there were two versions of the mkI but didn't know that the power chord differs.

DO NOT JUST SWITCH THE LEAD!!

you'll be pushing 220v into a 110v rated machine. you'll need a voltage convertor

thanks manilla. Anyone else use this method?
