Nah I didn't buy it new, dug one up randomly second hand in Tokyo. Hopefully it should work ok once I get it installed internally. Here's a couple of pics:

If I can find another one I'll let you know, what's the maximum you want to spend on it? Hit me on the PM.

well did it work externally? if it works externally you will be cool with it internally
the termination may be the only thing you want to look at. my card reader was an external unit and forat just took it out of the external case and installed it.

Yeah you can either use it as external or takeit out and make internal. I am going to Japan in a couple of months I might have to look for one now.

I realise that - but good looking out regardless. I'll be looking to get it fitted internally as soon as I get time.

Unfortunately I'm about to move house in the next few days and then heading overseas a week later, so I'm not going to have time to try out the reader anytime soon (all my gear is boxed up already).

SOME ONE GET ON THE HORN WITH SCM MICRO AND LETS SEE IF IT WORKS!!!

Whoa... whoa... WHOA!!!
Do not... I repeat... DO NOT buy a PCD-60B card reader beacuse it is just that... a READER!!!
My boy bought one off of ebay and even in the manual it stated that it didn't write to cards.
Just thought I'd try and save someone from wasting thier money on this. I put it in his PC tower to read his camera's flash cards... that's all it is good for now.
