yeah the os is worth every dollar. really changes the machine for the better. the added quantize steps, editing and mixing while playing, copying scsi hd's, just to start makes working a whole new ball game. oh yeah and copy zone to new sample. no more copying 8 times for one sound wasting ram and time.

rohan is also a very knowledgeable and helpful retailer, makin the upgrade and any questions about the os very easy to deal with.

Well, it looks like the boot problem is a problem. Damn, the more I look at it the more I think $950 for an old old 3000 with no memory, an old OS and boot issues is not a great deal. This sh*t is getting returned. So close yet again. One of these days a clean issue free 3000 will be mine.
