Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

Hey! I tired the to search for this but its not working....I need to know if I can sample a sound and then apply it to 2 diff. pads..As in, 2 dif. pads play the same sample and I can adjust volume/decay/attack seperatly on the MPC 60? Thanks

That's on the manual!
Get to the Sound Menu, then press 1 to assign the 4x16 pads with whatever sample you want.
To edit the Volume get in the Sound Menu and then press 2.

but that will only work on the 3.10 OS

yea thats what I thought it will only work on the 3os cause I have 2. something and It wont do it...So I will have to get the upgrade then...does 3os have pad mute? Like one pad mutes another? Thanks

I think you just have to buy and install the floppies. They're not cheap though.

There are no floppies involved. You need to get the 3.10 OS Rom chips and take the old ones out the MPC and install the new ones.
