Hi everyone.

I am looking at getting an mpc3000 shipped over here from the US. Is the power supply on the 3000 a universal one ie 120-240v 50-60hz? Or is it just for US power?

My 2000xl has a universal supply but i'm unsure about earlier models.

Thanks!

If anyone has a hi-res photo of the back of the 3000 this would help heaps!!

Really ???

Japanese models, [J] "power supply territory designation" by default are specified to run at the Japanese mains power level...... 100V .

They, [J] models ; are not user voltage switchable.

They, [J] models ; are not intended for connection to other mains supplies. ( although they will work on 110V-120V with a side effect of running hotter than usual ... and perhaps eventually over heating )

[U] "universal power supply territory designation" models of power supply for the MPC3000 whilst specified at the time of production ...... didn't appear in the market place.

MPC3000 machines are power supply equipped according to designated territory of operation.

This issue concerning power supply compatibility per territory designation has been discussed in this forum before:
