Couldn't find it in the archives... Can i use the 16 levels function on my mpc for sounds on the 950 somehow?

velocity only... otherwise chromatically lay your pads out so you can stretch sounds out over notes in your kgs

ok, thanks, that's what im doing right now, but there's a mess with 30 kgs, i think i'll dig deeper into using different midi programs, is it useful? just getting started...)

you can make one keygroup span mulitple pads if they are mapped out chromatically. assign it to a diff midi channel also. no need for 30kgs to map one sound

templates? hm, guess i'll spend some time with the manual...

i got another problem thou, often when i play a couple of sounds at the same time, some sounds won't play, it's like the mpc can't handle that many commands or something, or can this be solved by using different channels? thanks ya

if you are talking about the s950 you are probably exceeding polyphony, maybe you stacked a few sounds on top of each other in program
