Can i connect my card reader and zip drive together and copy from zip to card? Just trying to be clear of what i read. Thanks

You certainly can.
Usual precautions.
1: Make certain the SCSI chain is correctly connected, devices set to unique SCSI ID's and that the SCSI chain is correctly terminated.
2: Note the SCSI ID of each device.
Reason for point 2 is that if you selected the incorrect source and target ID's you could end up wiping your disk.
IE: Copying a blank disk over one containing data. ( process not reversible in this regard )
Vailixi's SCSI copier has been used by other users to copy from ZIP, SYQUEST, JAZ, HD and CF to ZIP, SYQUEST, JAZ, HD and CF.
