imported american mpc60 II [fuse]

i'm french and i bought a mpc60 II on 110V and i used it with a 110/220v convertor.
My mpc stop any time (sometimes at 30 min of use, sometimes at 1 hour of use)
I think it's fuses (a little bit "tired")...
I want to change fuses but there are in 125v (here in france we have only 250v), can i change on 125 to 250 easily ? it's dangerous ? if i take a 250v,can i keep the same amperage than the 125v or smaller ? [ex: fuse at 125v 1.6A = 250v 800mA] ?

fuses dont get tired. they either work or not. i wouldnt start changing fuses for different value fuses especially when using an mpc not suited for your location, you'll end up killing the mpc, always replace with the same values.

i think you have a dry/bad solder joint on the power supply board. when it gets hot it expands slightly and shorts out. take it out and check for bad joints, they maybe hairline size, use a magnifying glass

yeah i don't think it's the fuse... when i push some buttons and especially pads, sometimes she becomes crazy and the machine step on/step off automatically !
i think it's a bad contact with something but what ??

hmmm i had the same problem with my 3000. there was a bad joint on the power supply. id open her up and have a nose around. try re seating all the ribbon cables aswell. peace
