Yo peeps,

Just curious to see which one you think is going to be better for sampling off of.

Or none of them at all and just stick to the 1200?

Peace!

the needles on both of those units are doo doo
stick with a quality needle and good turntable
id only sample with those if i was travelling and for some reason really needed to make a beat. ive got the numark and had to make some beats for a cat while i was out of town but it was not a fun experience sampling with that joint

id say if u got a 1200 then stick with it and invest your money in a nice cart/stylus combo. dont go for a dj cart either get something aimed at the hi-fi heads. the handy trax that i had was shiit had a permanent hiss when u played out of the line out, unusable for sampling.

I have the Numark and I've spoken to most other people who have it and we all hae the same prblem with it. The issue is that the silver face plate unsticks and rises up so when you're playing a record the edge will slow it down or scratch your records. I solved this by taping the face plate to the edge and it works fine. Other than that, the size on the Numark is pretty big and heavy. I honestly think the Vestax is better when it comes to portability and comfort. But when it comes to sound quality the Numark is better and is rally a good alternative for someone that doens't have a turntable and mixer.
