I wouldn't take a 3000 out in anything less than a hard case.

Why would you need a video? Just read the manual and mess with it. Everything will come to you the sa,e as if you had a video since you never really understand a feature until you need it.

I just noticed the stres in your name. your post reminds me of too much coffee man.

Those bags that DIGIDESIGN make for carrying Protools 002 racks/surfaces are:

a) spot on size wise for holding an MPC3000.
b) have pouches that are media and drive size compatible. (zips/drives).
c) have cable storing sections.
d) carry on to an aeroplane size friendly.
e) padded very well.

As a bag around town they are cool.

When boarding planes I have not had any problem.

Where I can get the bag passed security and carry it by my side it works well.

If the machine had to go by road, in the cargo hold of a plane or was going out on a gig with me for a few nights ... then it goes in a road case, Anvil style...

Another for the road :-)
