Data wheel on 60II not working

Data wheel on my 60II hasnt been working i use the - and + keys but it would be convient to have it working anyone know if its fixable, mines all stock old os, floppy, memory ect if that makes any difference.

You need to take it to a technician... I have tried to swap encoders and have had the wackiest results... damn thing will work in only one direction then it may work for one second and then not... I had to have mine fixed and the tech, Russ Grey in Ardmore PA, soldered it straight to the board... I purposely took it to him without the old one so he would have to order a new one and he happened to have one spanking new... its butter now...

Good luck the only way to get them now is if someone still has them in stock cause they discontinued them both for the 60/3000.

so im gonna have to get a whole new part to get it working? its not really a big deal i could use the + and - it would just be nice to have working
