PGM Files

Are PGM files backwards compatible? I tried to load a PGM file into my MPC 60 (OS 3.10) created with a MPC 2000 to control my sp 1200. The file loads o.k. but the MIDI assignment data is not present.

MPC60 and MPC3000 DO NOT load *.PGM files created with MPC2000/2000XL/4000 machines.

The *.PGM files would need to be created on an MPC60 or MPC3000; or ported with the MIDICASE MPCEDITOR in order to load correctly.
