I just got a 60II. How much would it be to upgrade it to the 3000. Or is it really worth upgrading it. I already have a 3000.

I figured it out. The disk have to be formatted with the 60 first, then saved on the 3000. The memory is maxed out, SCSI installed with OS 3.10e.

The 60II is nice. But the floppy drive sucks hard. Got to get another zip drive. I will pair it up with my S3000. The S3000 needs to go into the shop; smples are disstorted. I can see good fat wave forms though. I will start building my 60II sound library, now.
Oh. I. Need one soft key. The original was replaced with a different button???? Otherwise, a good buy!

I notice a sonic noise when I sample with the 60II. The samples are clean, but there is some noise that is added. I don't hear it when I sample with the 3000. Is it just the 60II, does it need service and cleaning? I opened it and blew everything out with air, cause the floppy had dust bunnies.

Do you think so? It's reminding me of the EPS I had back in 1990. But, it's been so long ago I forget about the sound that i got when sampling.
