studio 440

anyone use one?...its a mpc60 killer IMO

how you figure it's a 60 killer?

I just don't understand why you would come to the 60 board in order to say that another piece of gear kills it.

Besides, people barely ever talk about the Studio440 (Prince Paul mentioned it in an interview a while back but that's it) while the 60 is a classic and is mentioned quite often.

So which machine kills which machine now???

sorry i put it in this forum but i used my boys the other day, i just think its got so much more shit then the 60 comparing them cause that 12 bit sound...kinda a mix between a 60 and 1200 to me...a very slept on box, no homo, all im sayin

they are pretty much impossible to find.


and spare parts are even harder to find.



the pads are really cool, almost like neoprene.


I would buy one, if I could find one.

If anyone has one of these babies, Ive been interested to get some audio for a while now. Apart from the casio (fz10m,I know its not 12bit ) the studio440 was one of the more promising units I've been reading about.

So if you're reading this or perhaps powercord can upload some examples of filtering and crunchyness. I bet some more people would be interested.
