Ha ha, I see you're rolling heavy with the SP these days (what happened to your EPS16 love?).
Track sounds nice so far. All it needs is a nice bassline and that shit would be blazin. Keep it comin.
And, no doubt, it's good to hear something longer than 20-some-odd seconds from you.

I suppose i'll throw it out there that this is not mixed obviously. Created on an SP-12 turbo I was putting through it's paces prior to sale. I chopped the break and flutes off the same record, which was lifted off a portable turntable. Had the SP/portable on my kitchen counter with some head phones. Total sample time at this point of construction is 3.4 seconds. I have 1.6 seconds left. With that, I sampled a jazz bass, an open hat, and a snare roll (fill).

Bass - I said **** the EPS man. Theres nothing wrong with it.. but I'm too many years into the SP/S950. At this point, where i'm at career wise, I don't have time to be tackling learning curves. When the inspiration comes, and ideas flow, I need to gel. You know what i'm saying? Me and the SP is like PB&J so it's only natural I rock it.
I'm convinced at this point that the ultimate hip-hop production setup sampler wise, is SP/S950/MPC60.. Just like AG kicked on the Show&AG LP. "All I see are blinkin' lights, track boards and fat mics, SP-12's, S950's, MP 60's".

I think the only thing needed is of course a bassline, maybe some more punch to the kicks...
Sonically it's needed some adjustments, but I hate mp3 quality so that is definitly causing a bias for me.
