s950 sampling rate?

sup guyz. So on my s950 on the audio bandwith page under the rec menu my audio bandwidth choice is from 3000hz - 19200hz. I thought this thing was suppose to sample up to 48khz. Is my s950 trippin? Thanks in advance for any answers. Peace

manual will help your new jack ass. the numbers assigned to the rates are not the actual sampling rate. 19200=48khz 3000=7khz

s1000 can read 950 disk. mpc 3000 can read s1000 disk. or you can use a program like translator.

i think s3000 can read s950 too...

where would you get a programme like a translator?
And how would you make it work? I think im gna have to get an external floppy drive for my pc

I've seen AKAIDisk. BUt that thing works better on DOS mode. However, I'm still struggling to make it work with DOSBOX but no luck. Anyone actually done it?

i run akai disk wiht 98. you can open your 950 sounds and drag em into mpc editor to make 3000 programs wiht the 950 sounds.

its true color is in the sampling though. Thats why i dont use any of these apps .
