laptop hardrive in mpc3000

Anybody put a internal hardrive in there mpc 3000? Im thinking about doing it but is it even worth it? Will i still be able to use it and my internal zip 2gether?

No, cant do it. I dont like card readers. I just installed internal zip AND still got my scsi zip port still in the back for the backup external zip-I dont kneed a card reader. Why does no one want a hard drive in there mpc? :?

Because card readers have no moving components, and everyone likes card readers. Plus if you have the internal zip mod, it's as easy as swapping the zip drive out.

On my 3K with Vailixi 3.50, I formatted a 1GB sandisk CF card with hybrid partitions. Put the card in my MAC, and BOOM, 24 hard drives on my MAC's desktop equaling nearly 10 zips worth. Drag and drop .snd's, and throw it back in 3K for a silent solution.

Still like zips better ???

zips are the noisiest pieces of crap ever. id ditch the zips just to cut down on that annoying noise.

Yeah i peeped your pictures when i did the zip install internal and keep scsi port in the back mod. .... well i did the surgery any way so all i gotta do is get a card reader and pop it in since I got 3.50os. Thanks every one for the opinions :wink:

JD still has pcd-25's like Teletran1's. 15-b's and 47-b's ( if you like to live dangerously ) too.
